It is done as per the format especially designed for catering to the physical and educational standards of the prospective security staff. Besides, stress is laid on his background with an eye on his past history and employment, with a view to root out the entry of undesired persons. This is done through references and also with police/personal verification.
The basic training in military drill is imparted and the bearing of a raw person is perfected .He is taught to put on uniform, how to stand at 'attention' and 'at ease' and to 'salute'. The person is then acquainted with the means, active & passive, that allow the conduct of activities within the organization without disruption. The training is based on two principles viz.,Intelligence and Control.The recruits are taught about the basic security attributes such as gathering information, information,prevention of crime,detections and aesthetics.The stress is laid on the Preventive and Aesthetic part of the security. The entrants are taught to man, and exercise various controls through physical search and maintenance of gate records/registers. They are also taught to check details of the entry/exit of men and material. They are further trained to use their uniforms properly with a view to enhance the prestige of the organization they are deputed to serve. The syllabus includes -
1) Physical Protection
- Of Vital Buildings, rooms, equipment
- Of Parameter barriers
- Parking lots and vehicles
- Protective lighting
- Lock and key system
2) Personal Control & Identification
- Employee/visitor/s control and identification
- Package, material and property movement
- Vehicle control
- Closed circuit television monitoring
- Bomb threats
- Hold-up, burglary and other crimes
4) Records and Reports
- Daily guard reports
- Incident reports
- Log books
5) Communications and Public Relations
- Verbal communications
- Written reports
- Specific or ongoing problems of special interes
- Invite client participation in training
- Legal authority, and a guard’s responsibilities
- Interaction of security force with clients' employees
The Administration of the men is our responsibility. We look after their recruitment, training, leave, wages, ESI and PF and any other legal responsibility. The enterprise is at liberty to direct us to remove, replace any of our men at any time not suited to its needs by giving a reasonable cause/notice. Thus the clients are relieved of the entire administrative burden of our men while they are under the clients' control, as we shoulder the entire responsibility of their welfare and administration. To fulfill this obligation we have our own elaborate administrative set up.
