Russia Gets Ready To Use 40,000 Personnel for Boosting Security
during Sochi Olympics
According to a latest revelation by the representative of the Federal Security Service, around 40,000 personnel from the law enforcement agencies and special services will be assigned the task of ensuring security during the Sochi Winter Olympics, which is scheduled to take place within 7th- 23rd February, in Sochi, Russia.
Alexei Lavrishchev, the representative of the Federal Security Service, reveals to the reports that there are no actual threats for the participants of the Olympic Games and the visitors. He further adds that security has been planned by taking all potential risks and threats into consideration.
Moreover, Alexei Lavrishchev discloses that heads of more than 30 regional and federal structures are included in the Sochi Games' security situation committee. He reveals that more than 100 foreign security experts from 40 countries are co-ordinating with the committee.
